Excellent food. The whole experience was better than expected. Look forward to going back.

We had a fantastic dinner at Face-El Wajh on March 8th. On arrival we were ushered into our own private dining space and were waited on very attentively the whole evening. The wait staff were efficient without being intrusive, and were very helpful about making recommendations from the menu. The wine selection was sufficient and contained some excellent quality wines at reasonable restaurant prices. Our entree selections were wonderful and I had easily the best lamb samosas I have ever eaten by a long way. The rest of the meal was also scrumptious, with the meats from the Tanjine being the preferred choice of our group. No-one was disappointed with any of their choices. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a different style of cuisine to that normally available here in Shanghai. We will definitely be repeat customers. For the quality of cuisine, atmosphere and all round experience this would have to be one of my favourite restaurants in Shanghai. We are certainly spoilt for choice here. Excellent value for money in our estimation.

Home and poor service, no food or drink during our first half hour in the restaurant. Soup served before the appetizers ... Harira excellent, very average tajine ( fat and very hard meat ), pastries nothing to say. I do not know if this is because it was a special offer for dining City in Shanghai, but value for money was not really good. I was told this place as the best Moroccan restaurant in Shanghai, I am disappointed.
