Despite being fully booked for lunch at the start of Restaurant Week, I was able to make a booking on the day. Choose this place as menu looked interesting, esp vegetarian options. Did not disapoint... Sardines and scotch egg atarters were delicous and the innovative jams/chutney made them unique. Fish n chips main - fish potion was huge so good value but had to share!! Chips were chunky and fresh. Beetroot risotto was a bit diappointing - cold and rice undercooked. We think we were just unlucky as saw other diners having steaming hot risotto. Choc mousse dessert was v good, but rich ! Victoria sponge was ok - large slice but dry and needed more custard. Think the normal set lunch is around same price, so nothing different but good option for leisurely lunch

The Pawn, Great Job! I went there with my colleagues for lunch. We sit in outodoor and very comfortable. It's very delicious especially the main course, fish and chips. Staff is friendly to introduce the dishes of menu one by one. If we have time, I will spend an whole afternoon with my friends. I will be back.
