At Shore, an evening of savouring steak is more than the sum of its
parts – aged beef, delicate sauces, luscious side dishes, plush and
spacious setting, a varied wine list and engaging service – it is an
experience that goes beyond what you would expect from a steakhouse. It
is an experience that borders on heavenly.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, the decor is classy and cozy. The waitress saved us a hidden spot for 2 in the back corner of the restaurant. It is an excellent spot for couples when they need privacy and intimacy. In terms of the food-- the scallops didn't surprise me, the foie gras was a little overcooked and lacked flavor. My bf ordered the steak and requested medium rare, it was cooked perfectly and the blue cheese sauce went very well with it. I was not too pleased with my lamb loin as I requested medium, but the lamb was almost well done with no pink in the middle. The herbs seasoning didn't match the sauce. I particularly enjoyed the lemon dessert with honey yogurt. It is very refreshing on a summer night. I would make trip back again to try their regular menu!

Beef Tenderloin is juicy and satisfactory! Cod Fillet are fresh while texture is great! Cheese cake Dessert is delicious! Risotto served in Hong Kong are generally too soft but Risotto here is perfect! The environment is classy but relaxed. The staircase somehow reminded me of Zuma! This is a great place for dining and I would highly recommend all to try it out!

I have passed by the L Place a few times but haven't really be so tempted that I'd go in, until I saw that Shore was offering a special deal during Restaurant Week. What a pleasant surprise! The bar is nice -- chic but without many customers until later in the eve. Nuts on offer with the cocktails thank goodness. I hate a bar that doesn't offer fresh and salty crisps or nuts, thrown in for the price of an expensive drink. The terrace was lovely, too, apart from the food/cooking smells that pervaded the atmosphere. If it hadn't been for that we would probably have sat out, rather than in. Upstairs the food was super -- my husband had steak from the special 3-course deal and I ordered two lighter dishes a la carte. Really, everything was very good, including the service. We might go back, and would probably recommend Shore to others.
