In the city centre of Laren, upon to pittorresque Coeswaerde, Atelierbar-Restaurant Mauve is located. The old Saxon Farm exists of an Atelier and a restaurant. It is called after the famous painter from Laren; Anton Mauve ( 1838-1888). The rough paintings of the landscape are famous all over the world. The restaurant has the same style as these paintings; lots of wood and warm, deep colours. Ofcourse you find here lots of things of painters of Mauve and other painters of his period.
