Ambience is indeed lovely outdoors. Unfortunately the food does not resemble anything Spanish. The paella tastes like nothing and should be removed from the menu immediately. The olives were nice, my tapas platter was okay. However I did miss the Manchego, Boquerones, tortilla (not on a piece of bread) and other real Spanish tapas.

As mentioned by the existing review, the ambience is excellent. We took the place outdoor and it was nice. They gave 4-course dinner (tapas, salad/soup, main, and dessert). The baked mussels in the tapas is very good. The salad is small but nice. The soup is placed in a very interesting bowl. The paella (not the seafood one) I had was ok. The dessert, "crema catalana" was nice but it is very sweet.

Lunch was disappointing for the price. Expecting something a little more special. Two very small entrées and then a very average main course. Would not go back. Restaurant empty - no ambience whatsoever.

Went for lunch during Restaurant Week. The outdoor alfresco dining area was pretty cool, but a bit too warm for lunch on a sunny afternoon. The set lunch came with 2 starters, a panfried potato/egg dish and a spinach dish. Pretty light and refreshing. The entree was disappointing though. My friend ordered a paella dish and it tasted a bit burnt. I ordered the chicken with rice dish and the presentation looked like a mess. The taste was pretty average. Even a chain Spanish restaurant like La Tasca in London serves way better tapas than the food here. Overall, felt like it was not worth the $25++ for the meal. The service staff needs to work on their enunciation, as some of them were literally mumbling. Entree wasn't served warm. But well, maybe the chefs were having a bad day?

Went for the set lunch promo. Food is below average. Not worth the price.

Though the food menu was one of the best among the restaurants participating, the food failed to live upto expectations. The service greatly needs to be improved-the waiter was talking rudely into the microphone while clearing our tables. We felt it was sorely distracting in the midst of having a conversation after our meals. That said, we felt the ambience was unbeatable! It was located in a lush forested area with tables nestled in a cosy corner among the greenery. That seemed to make the night worthy!

Food: since there was 3 of us, we ordered the 3 different mains to share. The beef was pretty salty by a huge salt eater standard. The Cod fish was really good- very fresh. The Paella was only warm and forgettable. The 2 starters and dessert did not wow me, but admittedly the mussels in the starter did made me wonder how it was prepared (in a good way) The Sangria was overpriced at $23++ and when it was first served, it was room temperature! I had to ask for it to be changed. I would have expected the sangria to be the most outstanding drink in a Spanish restaurant but I was wrong. Service: The service was strange. We were ready to order our dinner with our drinks but were told to wait after we ordered our drinks. We had to call the waiters to order our dinner after our drinks were served. The waiters kept clearing our napkins without replacing new ones as well. Ambience: We sat outside which was nice given it was a cool evening. It was a nice place to sit and have a drink with a few friends. The table layouts with a few marquee made it quite unlike Singapore. The tables were well spaced out for privacy. I enjoyed the ambience especially when it was darker and the garden lamps came on. Definitely a nice date place! Bring some mosquito repellent for extra brownie points ! Also, I had to agree with my friend when she said going to the toilet was treacherous as some small steps leading to the toilet can lead to some nasty falls. It was overall a nice experience albeit some hiccups. Too have a pianist play while dining is a nice treat.
