Loos is located in the Scheepvaartkwartier on a wonderful location in the Maasstad, with views over the historical Veerhaven and the imposing Parklaan. It is one of Rotterdam's most popular grand cafes.

Loos is large and arranged lightly; its decoration is timeless and breathes a Parisian atmosphere. Visitors are city people and diverse.

Loos consists of a cafe and a restaurant. You can enjoy coffee here, a quick or extended lunch, a drink or a culinary dinner. A meeting place with good food and fast service.

The first thing that strikes you when you first enter LOOS is the spaciousness of the place and there is an instant warmth about this place. Opened since 1988, the food is comforting and familiar. Though I am not a resident of Rotterdam, the overall dining experience was pleasant and the staff was efficient though the evening staff at the outdoor bar was more friendly and approachable. Although I was only there for brunch at noon and drinks for the evening, there must be good reasons why they are still around for all these years. Overall, this is one place worth heading to for a good old fashion grub and I highly recommend the ham and cheese omelette. Kid friendly too.
