Located in the exclusive area of Piazza delle Coppelle, close to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, the MYOSOTIS restaurant is run by the Marsili family which has a thirty year experience in managing class restaurants in Rome.
The cuisine of the restaurant, personally supervised by the owner Angela, has strong ties with the local tradition and is exclusively based on fresh and first quality products. The dishes proposed on the menu are therefore characterised by the unparalleled flavours and aromas of the local meats and fresh fish which can be directly chosen at sight by the client.
The wine list offers a wide selection of the best Italian and foreign wines.

I made reservations, arrived in Rome, went to the restaurant on date and time. Guess what! Myosotis was no longer in business. I e-mailed a day or to prior to going to Rome because their web page said they were "temporarily closed" and I wanted to verify my reservations date. I did not hear from them prior to trip nor after I got home. Would have been nice to at least let us know they wouldn't be in existence anymore. I originally found this restaurant on my first trip to Rome in 2001 and was recommended by friends and Rick Steves, a travel host on US television. Hope Rick doesn't still have them as a good place in his travel book. |

This cosy restaurant is in the centre of Rome. Very kind peoples, food is good, we had a very relaxed evening there. Something to remember |

My daughter and I ate at this restaurant in 2001, our first visit to Rome. It was excellent in every way. Very romantic, although I didn't have anyone to be romantic with at the time. I am returning to Rome this September, 2008, with a person to be romantic with and we are planning to come back to Myosotis for a lovely evening and meal. From the photos it is as lovely now as was in 2001. Check out the bathroom, we still have fond memories of this unusual surprize. I know anyone would be very pleased with this restaurant if they make time to have some really authentic food and ambience. |

Very nice restaurant in the Old Centre of Rome.
Lovely people and you can enjoy a great meal over there. Also the wine cart isn't very small.... :)
Also very romantic in our oppinion.
The price: the same as a normal good restaurant....about 50 euro per person. |
