We were recommended this restaurant for my husband's birthday and we were delighted with our evening there. From the moment we stepped into the Hotel Eden we were made very welcome and the service we enjoyed from all of the team there was excellent. It is expensive, but then we knew that before we went! So get dressed up (they do have a dress code but although my husband did wear a jacket and tie, it didn't seem to be strictly enforced) go to La Terrazza Dell'Eden (preferably in a horse drawn carriage), enjoy an aperitif with wonderful canapes, delicious food with one of the best views in Rome, and with puddings to die for - you won't be disappointed. The pianist - which was a subtle rather than an intrusive accompaniment to dinner - played "Happy Birthday" as my husband's pudding was brought out. No "tacky" singing here which can be very embarrassing - but rather a delightful surprise and I would actually wonder if any of the other guests noticed. Ask for a table by the window and enjoy! So thank you to all the team at the Terrazza Dell'Eden for a wonderful birthday dinner. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to others and we will definitely go back on our next visit to Rome. |

We did celebrate my wife's 60 years birthday, and had an experience that met our expectations 100%. Got exactly the type of table requested with a superb view. Excellent food (Gourmet Menue), top wine suggestions and excellent service. Simply the top! Warmly recemmended! |

We had a fantastic time.
We had booked a lunch table for 4 at 12.30 at (naughtily) both La Terrazza and also Les Etoiles at Atlante Star Hotel, with a view to choosing once we were in Rome. Well, we decided on Les Etoiles, I cancelled La Terrazza (they were gracious) and arrived at 12.20. The staff in the restaurant greeted us in a surly manner and looked at me as if he had stepped in something (and we were all dressed really smartly). As we were early(and obviously not welcome) I asked if we could get a drink - "No". So, we turned on our heels and I telephoned La Terrazza to see if we could re-instate our table "yes of course, look forward to seeing you!". Well, our greeting at La Terrazza could not have been more different that Les Etoiles. They were delightful and attentive from the moment we arrive (1pm) to when we left (7pm !! ) - and the food, of course, was outstanding - and the view from the rooftop ? Stupendous (and much better that the view from Les Etioles !). A very memorable day. |

First class service in an over the top beautiful setting. The views and attention to detail make this expensive restaurant a must. The lounge is also lovely with live jazz music and the same stunning view over Rome. |
