In the heart of Rome, at a stone’s throw from the Pantheon, the restaurant L’Angoletto, where traditions from times gone by are cherished, offers its patrons fish and meat based dishes. As a starter we can recommend our mixed vegetables dish, with crustaceans and marinated fish. The first courses include home made fish stuffed raviolis or the classical pasta all’amatriciana or cacio & pepe pasta.
For the main courses choose between steak with balsamic vinegar and saltimbocca alla Romana, or taste our fish from the grill, cooked in the oven, cooked in a salt crust or cooked with white wine and olives. For side dishes we have artichokes, puntarelle and various other cooked vegetables. Our home made desserts will give the finishing touch to your dinner or lunch. Our expert staff will be happy to help you with your choice. |

Cuisine: 7 | Service: 1 | Ambience: 7 | Wine list : 7 Good simple food and nice atmosphere but what a shock when the bill comes. We paid 60 Euro per person for a simple plate of fish with baked potatoes and mushrooms. They show you the fresh fish in advance but never tell you that it is a golden fish. This is really a rip-off and we felt cheated. With antipasti and house wine we paid 100 Euro per person. For that price I eat in a Michelin-star restaurant in Belgium. Really not worth it! |
