'At sea you go fishing not shopping', this was the reply given by an old fisherman of Anzio to a client who had been asking him everyday for shrimps and sole. Those words drew the attention of four friends passing by and strongly influenced their common project of opening a fish restaurant. That's how Acquolina Hostaria was born: a young fish restaurant in Rome (open since June 2006), which is the result of many walks and wining and dining on the Roman sea-shore.

The four friends are: Giulio Terrinoni, Angelo Troiani, Giuseppe and Massimo Troiani. They all have in common the search for new and old pleasures offered by the endless combinations of flavours.

Acquolina is also a cooking school where lessons are delivered by chefs and professionals who teach in the most prestigious eno-gastronomic schools at national level.
