Since 1964, in the heart of Parioli, a district of Rome, the family run restaurant Ambasciata d’Abruzzo, offers its clientele specialities from the local Roman cuisine as well as from the Abruzzi region. The five dining rooms offer the possibility to have private graduation parties, business dinners or small banquets. The forty seats on the terrace outside are ideal for a dinner outside in spring and summertime.
The Ambasciata d’Abruzzo has been the first restaurant to shorten waiting time before being served: as soon as you sit down at your table you will be delighted with numerous starters served promptly (In fact, immediately after you take place at your table you will be surprised and served with numerous starters). After this, you can choose specialities from the Abruzzi region or from the local Roman cuisine to end with home made cakes which are prepared on a daily basis.
The wine cellar has a wide selection of Italian wines from the various regions, from Trentino to Sicily. |

We have a little misunderstanding our reservation, but managers reacted very quicly and found for our group new table. Food was delicious and service was high level. |

We, my wife and I, my mother, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles and scores of friends have been to the restaurant decade after decade beginning in the early 70's. We have never received reports back from anyone that didn't list this restaurant as one of the most enjoyable parts of their trip to Italy. Mangia, Mangia and enjoy enjoy....... |

I've been going to this restaurant since 1995 after i discovered it on one of my business trips. That it's still there just goes to show you how good it is. Great value for money, fantastic service, amazing food and wine, and a perfect experience over-all. When I'm in Rome, I make it a point to take at least one meal here. Sometimes, though, I couldn't resist the temptation and try to go more than once. |

we had our wedding reception in this restaurant in may 2008. The food was excellent, the staff were very efficient and entertaning and the wine list was extensive.we were so pleased with this restaurant that we may come back for one of our wedding anniversarys. |

My wife and I were in Rome in 1994 and 1999 for our 25th and 30th anniversary. We were so impressed with this restaurant the first time we just had to go back the second time. We were not disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly and very entertaining. We didn't know what to order and they offered to "make a meal" for us, which included all of the courses. The food is excellent! If you eat here you will never forget it and you'll always have pleasant memories. |
