The welcome at Ditirambo is warm; the atmosphere is lively and cozy--especially for a family coming in from a pouring rain, as we were. The man who took our orders spent a lot of time helping us with selections and with ordering wine. His English was excellent and he was charming and funny. The food, while good to very good, was just not as interesting or as delicious as we had hoped. The pear/gorgonzola souffle was a strange, brown, sticky cylinder that did not have the texture or lightness of a souffle. My guinea hen casserole was nice, but not wonderful. My smoked duck with white melon and toasted almonds was excellent. Overall, I'd give this a relatively high score but not spectacular. It's certainly better than you'll find at most trats, but not really a destination resto.

Ottimo il menu, che propone piatti di carne, pesce e vegeteriani molto ben assortiti, interpretati con creatività ma senza dimenticarne la radice mediterranea e popolare. Ottima e variegata la lista dei vini.
