At Summer Palace, the best of Cantonese cuisine is presented with great gastronomic skills by master Chef Lee Keung from Hong Kong. In US publication HOTELS, Summer Palace was selected as one of the ten 'Great Hotel Restaurants' of the world for 2004.
The menu features the best of Cantonese specialties and seasonal favourites expertly prepared by Chef Lee and his kitchen brigade. Yum Char or Dim Sum is available for daily lunch, with a wide selection of dim sum favourites on offer.
The understated elegance of the comfortable restaurant is reflected in the harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary design. Intricately carved screens and doors; a collection of exquisite Chinese paintings and murals set against white walls; elegant furniture gilded in traditional black and gold contrasting with Viennese crystal chandeliers and Narumi bone china from Japan. The design of the screens, door panels and carpet is based on a four petal flower motif originating from the Summer Palace in Beijing.
