Cote d'Azur on the banks of the Oosterschelde

Restaurant Katseveer, a name with a long history in the polders of South Beveland (Zeeland). From 1825 the building served as a guard room serving the ferry until 1969. Since then, the location known as restaurant. Since 2003 we, Rutger & Jessica van der Weel, the proud owners of this striking, stately building on the Oosterschelde. Since 2005 we have been awarded a Michelin star.

After the takeover in 2008, the restaurant in 2011, a complete makeover and now has an idyllic atmosphere reminiscent of the Cote d 'Azur. The decor of the restaurant is modern / country which overflows into the environment. The restaurant has a panoramic view over the National Park Oosterschelde. The kitchen is modern with Mediterranean influences. Surrender to our young enthusiastic team that stands ready to spoil you and surprise you with products from surrounding area. The restaurant seats 40 people and the terrace for 30 people.
