We had dinner yesterday evening. After reading the many good reviews about the restaurant we decided to go their with friends visiting. The entrance is absolutely stunning. We were seated at outside at the entrance where the ambiance was really nice. The menu presented was extensive and promised many good dishes. We decided on the Tamarind Platter for the entree after the many raving reviews about the dish. However, most of the dish turned out to be a disappointment, except for the raw salmon pieces. For mains we had the Tuna Loin, beef curry, prawns with steamed salted eggs and pieces of crispy duck. Overall I found it mediocre, this was not fine dining Thai cuisine. The rice was not hot and piping and soggy. The only dishes that were good were the tuna loin and the beef curry. The prawns were a big disappointment. Except for the location and the atmosphere, I would not recommend this restaurant; though only for the ambiance.

I thought that the food was of high standard and was very tasty. I thought there was in enough variety in the set menu. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was quite fancy. I think that there could have been a bit more light in the restaurant though.

Love the place. The food is great, lovely atmosphere and the staffs are friendly. Looking forward to return again.
