The set lunch choice was limited and i didn't like either of the two main course choices. However, the waiter was enough to allow me change my main to the cod fish on the ala carte menu for a top up.

We enjoyed a few kinds of cheeses. Eggplant& cheese appetizer, broccoli soup, poteto gnocchi with tomato sauce, teramesu were all good.

Came here expecting good Italian cuisine and was not disappointed! Went for a Sat restaurant week lunch, and apparently they are only starting a Sat lunch thing on a regular basis from April! Guess we got a nice preview. Chef Donato was there, and he really went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome. The wait staff was appropriately attentive, and responsive. Most excellent service! (caveat that there weren't that many people there at lunchtime - but still!) We had: a complimentary amuse bouche of eggplant parmigianno (nicely done, great teaser), cream of broccoli soup (best ever had, having a slice of goat's cheese in there was brilliant inhow it offset the flavours) squid ink seafood pasta (lighter than others we tried before, but still preserving the seafood flavour - well done!) potato gnocchi pomodoro (this is by far the best execution of gnocchi I've ever come across - tender, fluffy and absorbent of flavour! Chef Donato mentioned gnocchi is a Roma speciality - I can see why!) Tiramisu for dessert (was ok, but not sure they defrosted it properly, could taste some iciness - this was the reason Cuisine didn't get a perfect 10)

The best italian restaurant we have been to for this season's Restaurant Week. The menu was very good especially the gnocchi which was soft and full of taste of cheese. My friend doesnt eat cheese and so was presented with a special dish of parpadelle with mushroom and Italian sauages. It was awesome as the flavours were spicy and flavourful Their desserts were to die for - we ordered extra lava cake on top of the usual serving of tirimisu. Staff were attentive and the chef was so kind to check on us to make sure everything is well and spent some time explaining to us about the process of his home made gnocchi which we are full of praise. Wonderful place. We love it.
