the black ink tonnarelli is good but the roulade of pork belly has too much of a gamey taste to my liking. the prawn soup has quite a refined taste and the salad ingredients blended very well. among the trio of dessert, we liked the strawberry panna cotta the most because of its subtle flavour.

The food was good, we love the appetizer and dessert. For the pork belly, the portion was just nice otherwise it might be too oily and heavy. The service can be better with more smiles and timely action. Overall it was still a good experience.

The service was very good. The meal was good and the portions were sufficient as most restaurant served smaller portions for bookings made during the Restaurant Week.

Our family of 5 had dinner during Restaurant week. It was our first visit. My first impression was that this was quite an up-market restaurant. The dinner menu appeared quite enticing and we were tempted by the wine recommendations on the Restaurant Week Menu into ordering a bottle of white wine. Our waiter was helpful in suggesting a sweet wine which suited the palate of the younger members of our family. Unfortunately, the cuisine did not live up to expectations. The ingredients were impressive but we found the cooking to be a bit of a letdown. We have had better Italian cuisine elsewhere in Singapore. Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable evening at OChre. We were very happy with the service which was attentive without being intrusive. I commend the staff for their excellent efforts. A minor drawback which the management should take note of was the discomfort caused whenever hot air blew in from the terrace towards our table every time the sliding doors to the terrace opened. That was not pleasant.
