The service at Michelangelo's was great. Unfortunately, the food was definitely not worth the extra we had to pay. (as in, this was a starred restaurant therefore we paid about S%50 each for dinner there) Appetisers were fine, and my main of duck pasta was tasty. However, my sister's main of ribs was tough and very hard to cut & chew She asked midway if this was the way the ribs were supposed to be and the waitstaff apologised and replaced the ribs, and although much better than the previous, was still tough and had a strong porky smell. We were given a free dessert off the regular menu to make up for it but none of the desserts we tried actually tasted good.

Hi, myself and my dinner partner had an enjoyable evening despite the heavy downpour. The staff were attentive and were happy to accede to our request (we arrived almost 45mins before our reservation timing). However, the food is rather disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the food is pretty decent but I was expecting more since its a star restaurant.

I had expected more especially this restaurant has been awarded a dining city star. The main course I had was penne in foie gras sauce and smoked duck. The portion as a bit small and there was only one tiny little piece of smoked duck. Though the flavors were awesome I wished there was a bit more meat. The cheese cake was disappointing. It was almost bland. The only saving grace was the complimentary chocolate bread pudding. That should have been on the menu instead! Not worth a second visit.

The place was nice and quiet when we arrived and the service was prompt. However the food was just average especially the appetizers and desserts. Calamari batter was a little too thick. Parma ham quality could be further improved.. 1 of the tiramisu was like leaning Pisa when it was served. The pastas were good though. Still enjoyed them.
