Overall very good experience during the restaurant week. The only complaint is that the food portion is too much even for my big eater hubby!

Portions were generous and very yummy! The risotto was rich and flavourful, and the lamb shank was simply melt-in-your-mouth. In fact, the food was similar in quality to some of the dining star restaurants we tried. The fact that we were served 5 courses (including coffee or tea) when we were only expecting 3 was already a bonus.

I liked the atmosphere of the place. The restaurant ambience was family-friendly, cozy and not overwhelming. It was comfortable without being too informal. You wouldn't feel out of place wearing a nice dress to the restaurant for dinner. The food was nothing to shout about, my husband said the lamb shank wasn't good because the lamb had a strong odour, and the seafood stew we had was too salty to eat. It actually tasted like a seafood stew i once made at home that went uneaten because it was just that - too salty. Bread was not amazingly fresh, but the appetizer of pancetta-wrapped mozzarella was good, as was the dessert, which was pear poached in red wine jus with a mascarpone cream. As my son wanted pasta, i asked for a plate of plain tomato pasta. Was a bit shocked when the bill came because the plateful of pasta with tomato sauce, no meat or mushrooms or anything else, was $20. in contrast the lunch menu cost $25 for three courses. it would have been nice for the manager to have informed us of the price of that small portion of plain pasta because, you know, just to give us the option of choosing another three-course set lunch instead, which was only $5 more. we could have had more bacon and cheese and dessert! will we go back? my husband says no, but i'm still in two minds about it because it's a comfortable atmosphere and might be nice for a night out with friends. again, food was not amazing but could have been because it was probably mass-cooked for the restaurant week specials.

If you're a cheese lover, this would be the place to go! mozarella wrapped with parma ham starter is my Fav. Service was slow, probably because it was restaurant week and the restaurant was crowded as. Will definitely go back to try the rest of their specialty in the menu!
