Spanning two of four storeys, the first and second levels of the restaurant allow guests to dine in the comforts of home while the mezzanine area is a multi-function space for private and corporate events.
Me and my fiancee were there for dinner slightly more than a week back. She ordered the restaurant week menu while i ordered a la carte. For starters, the escargots I ordered were a bit too bland and could do with more herbs. My fiancee's salad with poached egg, however, was done just nice. For the main course, the chef's special-for-the-day which i ordered was excellent, though the barbecue sauce was a tad too salty. The main course for the restaurant week menu of chicken with baked rice was not very adventurous though delicious. I ordered the apple tart for dessert while my fiancee had chocolate moose. The tart was recommended to me by the restaurant manager so expectations were high but I was disappointed to note that it tasted very normal. Nonetheless, I must commend the service staff for their attentive yet unintrusive service. However, one thing that was a put off was the stench that came from the cloth the waiter used to wipe the table after each course. Perhaps the restaurant could consider changing the cloth more often. Must admit it dampened the otherwise pleasant dining experience a little.

little gem on duxton road. excellent service and ambience. Food was pretty good as well. Highly recommend the poached eggs on mushroom fricassee. Look forward to coming back here sometime in the near future!
