Great value for money lunch for SRW 2013. Will come back for their a la carte menu. Standout dish was the ricotta filled pasta in porcini sauce - I could eat a huge bowl of it in front of the TV, perfect Italian comfort food and up there with some of the trattorias we ate while travelling through Italy. The truffle ice-cream for dessert was an eye-opener - the creamy truffle ice-cream taste paired with the rich biscuit crumble was delicious but what elevated it was the sprinkling of black salt. Service should also be noted - it was warm, inviting and genuine which is very rare in Singapore. We will definitely return because a restaurant where the service is as comforting and genuine as the food should be the type of establishments we support with our business.

I am at a loss as to why Casa Tartufo isn't more well known in the Singapore food scene. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were immediately greeted by the incredibly friendly staff and escorted into what one can only describe as a "Little Italy" in the heart of Singapore. Admittedly the exterior of the restaurant doesn't really reflect the quaintness of its interior - we actually had trouble finding the restaurant on two separate occasions! During the meal the service was impeccable - the meals came promptly and were presented beautifully by enthusiastic staff. Personally I felt the amount of truffles in each dish was more than adequate. My personal favourite was Casa Tartufo's signature truffle pasta which made both myself and my partner go not once but twice in the span of a weekend! Really I would recommend Casa Tartufo for a relaxing, quiet, romantic evening with good food and unfalliable service!

The lobster bisque was average. Didn't like the sausage of black pig at all. But the saving grace was the fantastic truffle icecream! Service was good.
