Whereas the decor and ambience was truly excellent and very enjoyable, I was not particular impressed with the quality of the food. The pizza which my meal companion ordered looked hastily put and lacking in thought, and the meat platter which I ordered for my main course was not very tasty except for the lamb shank, which was the saving grace of the main course. The other redeeming highlight was the hummus and pita bread the latter of which was served warm and crispy. However, again, the disappointing dessert was small and unimpressive seemed to nullify the excellent appetizer.
