We spent a week in Rome and our evening at L'Arcangelo was one of the best dining experiences we had - even comparing with La Pergola - except for the view of course. L'Arcangelo is serving food of top quality with original twists and advice well on wines. In addition the service is very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Excellent, attentive service and delicious food. As foreigners who don't speak Italian, we are not always sure how we will be received at a restaurant, but we were welcomed warmly and never neglected. The suppli and gnocci were both exceptional.

Molto bene: si trova quel che ci si aspetta da un locale così rinomato. L'ambiente, stile trattoria classica, è molto piacevole, la sala è piccola. Il servizio, cortese e premuroso, lascia la giusta sensazione di familiarità ma senza esagerare. Il cibo è eccellente, ricercato nella presentazione e sobrio negli abbinamenti; anche qui un corretto bilanciamento tra tradizione e ricerca, tra sostanza e forma.
