Glass Hostaria

“…Glass is beautiful, it is a uber-modern, warm and welcoming precious stone, mounted in an area rightfully famous in the world for its decayed walls, the ivy climbing on the old buildings…”.

Inaugurated on May 24th 2004, Glass overlooks the historical Vicolo del Cinque, charming route for whom, from Piazza Trilussa, decides to reach Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, in the heart of this beautiful and ancient neighborhood. Planned by the Roman architect Andrea Lupacchini, with the artistic collaboration of Marco Filippetti and the creative inspiration of Alberto Brandolini, Glass has been published in numerous magazines and books and moreover awarded internationally for its design.

The competent staff is composed by 15 professionals lead by sommelier Giuseppe Carrus in the front and by chef Cristina Bowerman in the kitchen who proposes dishes in armony with the restaurant concept: balance between modern and tradition.
