Da Giacomo

Da Giacomo  was created 50 years ago as a typical Tuscan restaurant,  in via Donizetti. Thirty years later, it was relocated in via Sottocorno and totally renewed by the architects Renzo Mongiardino and Roberto Peregalli who created a suggestive art-deco space which has become the ‘lounge’ of Milan upper-class.

Nowadays the restaurant’s cuisine is mainly based on fish: tuna, prawns, spider-crabs, sea-bass and many other fish varieties can be selected straight from the display case, as a tangible sign of the freshness of the food served. All dishes are accompanied by a wide selection of wines.

In season, it is possible to find dishes with Alba’s white truffles, porcini mushrooms or Caesar’s mushrooms. Worth mentioning are also the desserts which are produced in the restaurant’s patisserie located just opposite the restaurant and open to the public.
