Mercado de San Miguel

The Mercado de San Miguel is a historical emblematic monument in the heart of Old Madrid, a vibrant and characteristic area. The original structure dates from 1916 and after almost a century of serving as a local market it has been sensitively converted into its present multi-functional role. While never forgetting its origins the New Mercado de San Miguel has responded to the recent interest in Spanish cuisine and now aims to become a Cultural Culinary Centre where the focus is always quality, freshness and seasonality of fine European food.
