In 1991, Albert and Ferran Adrià started their work with tapas in elBulli, and they turned this concept into something really important in their way to understand cooking. Since then, a continuous development has taken place.
This project was started by Albert Adrià. La vida tapa is a global concept which links gastronomy to a way of understanding life.

A must eat! Hard to get into, but not impossible if you book at the right time. The entourage, the food and the service is all perfect. Don´t worry about what to choose, it is all delicious with some very nice surprises (olives, oysters with pearl, air baguette). Just let the waiter bring the tapas, and you will not be dissapointed. Also good to come a bit earlier and have some drinks in the bar next door (41grados). Very knowledgable staff and great cocktails!
