Café Luxembourg at the Amsterdam Spui, ...for 20 years one of the most nicest café's of the city.

After years of stagnation, decline and ultimate closure Luxembourg since March 1, 2011 again! The new management has attempted, in collaboration with the original designer Jan-Marc Burg of Ducks, as much as possible to bring back the old glory. The ceilings and walls are stripped and re-patinated gray diapers. The conservatory has been refurbished. All marble, stone, wood and glass is cleaned, polished, in the laundry, put oil or stain. Respect for what the kitchen put in Luxembourg at a level appropriate to the location and the reputation of yesteryear. For breakfast, coffee at the reading table, tea on the terrace, lunch, drinks or dinner, welcome!
