we had a wonderful meal at Casa Coppelle. The manager remembered it was for a special occasion and gave us prosecco as a welcome aperitive, which was very kind. The food and wine was exquisite. We would most definitely highly recommend this restaurant

We arrived early for our reservation and were seated directly accross from the kitchen. One couple without reservations arrived directly ahead of us and were seated next to us. The restaurant was empty except for 2 diners. We politely asked to be moved and the maitre d said that the entire restaurant was booked. He finally moved us when my husband said we would go elsewhere. He was very rude and although he spoke perfect English he did not seem able to wunderstand us. Finally he moved us to a table for 2, there were 3 of us. He was rude throughtort. Our waiter was at least courteous. I made the reservations well in advance and our concierge confirmed them. It was our worst experience in Rome. maybe they don't like foreigners.

The food was great, a whole different level than the more simple restaurants that we dined in during our stay in Rome. We tried to book just a couple of days before going there and we never got an answer fopm the restaurant. Apparently tha´t means that we didn't get a table, but they were kind enough to squeeze us in anyway!

Took my Fiance there for Valentines. Perfect and romantic. Service, food and music was excellent. Upper price range but for the special meal was well worth every penny!
