Morel's Restaurant & Cafe was founded by Mr. Renaat Morel, an internationally renowned chef from Belgium. Before Mr. Morel opened the restaurant, he served as chef in various five star hotels in Europe and China.

The restaurant at Liangma Qiao Lu was the first to be opened. Mr. Morel personally designed the forefront, which features Belgian characterics. The second restaurant is located in Sanlitun area, opposite of the Worker's Stadium north gate. The inside of the restaurant has a casual and cozy atmosphere. It feels as if you entered someone's home.

Morels' Restaurant & Cafe offers a variety of authentic Belgian and French dishes, such as a pot of mussels, and home made goose liver terrine. Particular attention is given to the dish quality focusing on ingredients and safety. Mr. Morel has won the consistent praise of a large variety of customers, among others are, the heads of state of Belgian, ambassadors in China and various presidents of many well-known companies.
