You will find VandeMarkt, under the direction of chef-owner Gerrit Jan Bos and restaurant manager Jacqueline Bos-Daniëls since 1999, in the eastern part of Amsterdam, in a quiet neighbourhood near the Amstel Station.
VandeMarkt offers you a creative cuisine; classical French and Mediterranean, with a touch of oriental. The menu follows the seasons; the ingredients are bought fresh daily "from the market", hence the restaurant's name. Special attention is given to vegetarian meals.
In addition to the "classics", a choice of lesser-known wines by the glass is on offer in the wine lists to accompany the various dishes.
In summer the terrace offers the guest the option of dining outside underneath a wide awning.
