  Virtual Tour

The 11th of February 2006 Restaurant te Pas was founded by the two brothers te Pas.
They show you mainly a French kitchen with a few international influences.

With one in the kitchen and the other in the restaurant, they create a professional but relaxed atmosphere.

Because this restaurant is situated near the Leidsche Plein and the Museumplein, it’s ideal to combine your dinner with a visit to the theatre, the Concertgebouw, the Rijksmuseum or
the Van Gogh Museum.

If you click on “website”, you will find more information about Restaurant te Pas.

Kind regards,
Evert & Hugo te Pas

This lovely restaurant was quite a nice discovery. I'm surprised that a place with such great food exists near the Leidseplein. The decor is wonderfully pink with a small gallery of art on the walls. I assume the works of art rotate. On to the food, one word, divine! Each course was thoughtfully put together and delicious. I will definitely return as I have just discovered a new Amsterdam favorite.

Although the food was very tasty, I was a little surprised that we were not given a choice! We dined during Restaurant Week (3 courses for €25)and in my experience, you are usually given a choice. We were simply told what we would be eating. My other comment is that it is advertised as a French restaurant however the meal we were served was about as British as it comes: bangers and mash! Granted, they were nice homemade sausages, but not what I would have chosen at a French restaurant.
