Café Stoop is a cozy dutch café where the dishes are served in good portions and also are payable. It is a cozy café with music at the background wich is where Stoop stands for, an intimate atmosphere. A bite and a drink at the bar is no problem. The menu offers, spare ribs, chickensate, steak, boiled mussels, salmon filet, and various salades and pasta. Stoop is located at the central of Amsterdam and is an ideal spot for visiting a concert, movies, theatre before you have dinner.

Stoop Stoop is always busy..and for good reason. The food is honest with good portions. Try the fried sole. The service is great. Two kids keep a watchful eye out for empty glasses that need refilling..between skillfully darting through narrow gaps balancing plates of steak and frites...smiling and joking as they go. It's cozy, warm and friendly...and very Dutch. But get there early...sixish... |
