As a newcomer to Holland, I generally eat at the usual places, Chinese, Indian, Thai, well, actually, I never try anything outside my comfort zone!! But when I heard that there was a restaurant week here in Amsterdam, I felt it was the perfect opportunity to force my taste buds into a different arena and I'm so glad I did!! The staff were very friendly, the service was very good and the food was outstanding! I did have to send my T-bone steak back as I think we lost something in the translation of 'Well Done',it came back even juicier than the first one. While the food was great, so was the wine and aperitif that accompanied each course, which I enjoyed immensely, so much so, I fell off my bike on the way home, but hey, that's Amsterdam!! I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes small intimate meals with likeminded people at a cost that won't break the bank and is a perfect way to while away the evening by one of the many beautiful canals. |

The food was just ok but despite it was the restaurant week (25 euro for 3 small courses) we paid too much (50 euro per person) for a bad white wine that was not even served chilled. I would not recommend. But the waiter/owner from Chile was very nice! |

Absolutely delicious food and delightful atmosphere!)))Enjoyed every time I happened to be there just for dinner or to share the time with my friends! very friendly and hospitable people! I'll definitely be coming again and again))) |

This place was somewhat disappointing. The decor is cozy and airs on the trendy side (good). Service is attentive but lacks professionalism. The food was mediocre. For restaurant week, first course was bread and dips(not a formal starter). Dinner we had veal and it was very bland and the taste was disguised by tomato. Desert was a grapefruit mouse, very odd. None of the dishes were bad, but all failed to impress. |

It was a good experience. The chicken was delicious but the pasta from the week was not so good. It looked also not so appealing.
I really can not wait until Jul 08, when no body is allowed to smoke in the restaurant anymore. Such a small restaurant, the smoke was really making an inconvenient dining experience |
