Hotel Vondel and “Joost” are named after the Dutch poet
Joost van den Vondel who was born and raised in Cologne. In 1597 the Van den Vondel family moved to Amsterdam where he wrote many famous poets and theater plays. His most famous ones are “Gijsbrecht van Aemstel” and “Lucifer”.
We offer a lovely place to sit back and relax.

As soon as you enter the service begins, staff are friendly and punctual, deco stylish and modern, pleasant to the eye. Food was well presented and the flavors well balanced for all dishes and food produce high quality. I would recommend the restaurant to all, even if you just fancy going there for dessert coffee, it's definitely worth the visit. Looking forward to my next visit. |
