Restaurant in de keuken is located in the Utrechtsestraat in the centre of Amsterdam, in the part between Prinsengracht and Frederiksplein. In a small building squeezed in between larger monumental ones it seems almost hidden. From outside you can see cooks working in the kitchen that is surrounded by shelves of cookbooks, beautifully set tables for the guests and the open pantry. Once inside you discover what it is all about: to ensure everybody a wonderful evening with exquisite creations from the kitchen, matching wines and lots of attention for the guests.
The style of cooking is seasonal and based on the simplicity of the Mediterranean kitchen. The dishes are presented with a lot of creativity. There is only one menu consisting of many small dishes. For every course there are alternatives, both vegetarian as non-vegetarian, in case guests indicate there is something they don’t like to eat. With the menu it is possible to select wines from our wine-list or let us do it for you. We have selected wines to match each course, that can be ordered as an arrangement or per glass
