Throughly enjoyed the meal. Mussels to start with, 4 differet style, mousse, a very light terrine style, and a warm cream one. The soup was lovely, octopus with artichoke etc.
The main course was very nice, my fish was under the lamp long that the my other diners but did not spoilt the meal.... although as a bloke a few more veggies would be nice.....
would I return and pay ala carte.... definitively..... probably in the next month |

I was at Lucius in 2002 and it was a positive experience.
But now (July 2008) has changed.
The red mullet I had was terribly cold an the taste of the indian style cooked fish was totally covered by curry. They served a salad with a rotten cherry tomato on it. The oysters which we were expecting at the beginning arrived later and were not fresh.
The burgundy white house wine was okay.
Finally the service: waiters look like bothered by customers and despite they ask you if everything is ok, it sounds more a routine than real concern.
I will never go again and I will suggest my friends to choose some other places where to eat fresh fish cooked better and where to find a better service. |

This is a very nice restaurant. The seafood is great and service is good. The portion is a bit big for an Asian but if you can eat a lot, that should not be a problem. Very much value for money. |
