This place had been one of my favorites for a long time, but food quality and price/value relationship is decreasing sadly. A friend and I went recently and ordered a la carte, the proportion of the main dish in comparison to the price and the other dishes was alarming, and it's not the classical french food portion, this was just too much (or too little!). Also quality of the food in general had been diminishing. Plates are not done with the proper care and "art" anymore. I would suggest that they diminish the number of "special menus" and focus on doing only one thing but back to excellence. I still trust you but you have one last chance! |

My partner and I went to Zinc on Xmas Eve. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and were more than willing to make our meal an enjoyable experience. We had a fantastic night there and the food was lovely, especially the dessert which was a chocolate souffle. When we visit Amsterdam again we will definitely book into Zinc. |
