Restaurant Het Karbeel is situated in the heart of the city center en attracts local people as well as tourist or other people for a small bit of a romantic dinner.
The specialty is Cheese Fondue, an old Dutch traditional dinner. According to locals we serve the best Cheese Fondue of Holland. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic with the large wine stack in the middle of our restaurant.
Food: 8 | Service: 8 | Decor: 8 My boy friend and I had the cheese fondue last month. The food and the service was great. Next month we are coming back with friends of ours who love cheese fondue as well.
I expect the food and the service to be of the same level.

Went there to eat the Fondue and indeed tried 2 different kinds of this dish. Both kinds a bit too alcoholic for my taste, but the place is cozy, the waitresses extremely nice and friendly, no food smell as kitchen must be somewhere down and does not disturb customers

cosy atmosphere, GREAT service.the fondue is maybe special, but not that good.
