The Veranda is a modern and elegant restaurant-café. You will find the Veranda in the south of Amsterdam near to the Amsterdamse forest. The restaurant and the café are decorated with teakwood furniture, Italian flagstones and unique paintings on the ceiling this all gives a warm Mediterranean feeling. As guest of The Veranda you can enjoy perfect balanced dishes, excellent wines and dining on the terrace near the water.
The menu changes every two months and brings a variety of fish, meat and vegetarian meals. Every day our chef prepares a special menu based on season products, this menu you can order in 3-, 4-course. In the summer you can have lunch or dinner at the terrace near the water.
In the summer you can enjoy the view at the Amsterdam Forest from the terrace. |

The Veranda restaurant in the Amsterdamsebos is filled with evening sunshine as you eat your delicious meal. Elegantly designed, with lots of Italian furniture and features, we felt exceptionally welcome and as if we were transported to Italy for the evening. The service was impeccable and our menu - Kalfsribeye biefstuk literally melted in our mouths. The dessert was fresh pineapple with coconut sorbet, ginger crumble and Malibu cream and was incredible!
It was a truly wonderful evening, looking out over the water and the forest as the sun came down.
