Caf?-restaurant De Struisvogel ( ?The Ostrich? ) is located in a basement at the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam. The restaurant has 35 seats, so it? s small, but?very nice.
We have a monthly changing 3-course menu for ? 17,50. Our specialty is of course ostrich! We also serve ostrich-beer, which is made in Amsterdam.
We have room for groups, if you want you can even hire the hole restaurant for a private diner. |

Best treat in Amsterdam! Super friedndly staff, excellent food and we got a special decoration because it was my friend's birthday. Always again! |

Elke keer is het uitstekend of het een bedrijfsuitje, verjaardagsetentje of zo maar tussendoor is steeds alles naar wens. eten bediening en omgeving dik voldoende maar niet verder vertellen anders kunnen wij volgende keer niet meer reserveren. |

Very tiny cosy place, lovely food and good service. Loved the ostrich steak was perfect!
Also the price was very good indeed i've paid double that for worse food. Shame they have stopped doing the ostrich beer.. |

a good (non smoking!) atmosphere, very friendly service and the relation quality/price is quite good. The menu is not so extensive as in other bigger restaurants, but we were in four and all what we ordered was "lekker"! For sure we'll come back. |
