Café de Prins is found on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Prinsengracht. Across from the Westerkerk (Western Church) and the Anne Frank house, on the edge of the Jordaan, it is surrounded by history.

This former coffee and teashop became Café de Prins in 1967. Since then the Prins has grown into a veritable Amsterdam institution, becoming an acknowledged meeting point for craftspeople, students and artists, for local residents and tourists, for young and old. Although the Prins has retained its typical "brown cafe" character, its kitchen has become one of its most important features in recent years.
